Hotel Olathang (Paro)

Drubchu Resort (Punakha)

Drubchhu is a family owned and managed resort. Overlooking paddy fields and farm houses, Drubchhu is developed on the ruins of an old granary which was built by Zhabdung Jigme Choegyal more than a hundred years ago. The property has a natural spring believed to be a Drubchhu (healing/miraculous water).

Simple and hearty meals are served with consistency by our young kitchen staff. We have an ever growing kitchen garden which gives the kitchen a constant supply of fresh salads. Evenings may be spent soaking in a hot stone bath, then you may opt to spend some time in the ‘Mad Man’ bar sitting around a warm bonfire. A wood fired oven is nearby for pizza and roasts on demand. Mornings can be started with fresh coffee at the café with a stunning view.

Mountain Lodge (Bumthang)

Mountain lodge is located about one km north of Jakar town, on the way to Kurjey temple, overlooking Wangdicholing. It is one of the oldest hotel in Bumthang, owned and operated by the family. The eldest son was trained in Austria in hotel management and so they are quite efficient. All the rooms are high standard wooden paneled and individually heated by the fire-wood stove (Bukhari). There is a continuous supply of hot water from the central boiler. They have a good number of trained services personal. The hotel has 27 nice rooms, good staffs and serve delicious , meals.It provides a professional service with family experience. Mountain Lodge ranks among the top hotels in Bumthang.

The resort is set amidst five acres of lush foliage and green lawns. Located conveniently in the heart of Paro valley but away from the distractions of the main town, Tashi Namgay Resort offers you a calm and peaceful environment within a five-acre compound. Unique blends of traditional Bhutanese and modern architecture have been provided for, yet at the same time offering you all the amenities of a modern lifestyle.
