BOULDER, Co. -- Adventures Within Reach is now offering charitable groups an opportunity to raise money for the cause they represent.
In Tanzania, groups can hike the challenging Mt. Kilimanjaro or climb Mt. Meru's more attainable 15,000 feet. Other trekking options include Everest Base Camp in Nepal, Mt. Kenya, or the volcanoes of Ecuador.
Adventures Within Reach provides charities with information packets to help them raise money, including donation form letters and information on the trip for prospective climbers. They also help pay for group T-shirts, offer charity climbers a discounted price and include their charity information on their website.
Volunteers also have a chance to work with local orphanages at these destinations where they can do manual labor like washing dishes, washing clothes, or help cook and clean. Spending time with the children, teaching them songs, dances and games or reading books all make a huge impact too.
