Rwanda: Testimonials
Just back from a very successful trip to Rwanda. What a stunning country, beautiful people and of course the gorillas! We visited Hirwa group which included a 2 day old baby. I'd have to say this will be in the top 5 experiences of a lifetime.
Our guide, J.D. was very good. He was polite and friendly and really looked after us well.
We did the Genocide Memorial and were very glad we did. It was very emotional and we would recommend to anyone visiting Rwanda to go there regardless of whether they know anything about Rwandan history or not. It's one of those places that is essential from a human perspective.
Then on to the Mountain Gorilla View Lodge which was brilliant. The staff were friendly, the rooms huge with fireplaces in each, the food was excellent and the view spectacular.
The next day we went to see the gorillas. The Hirwa groups were great as the photos show. They were only 15 minutes walk from the road.
So to sum up, it was brilliant thank you very much. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Trip to Rwanda was fantastic, everything went off without a hitch, gorilla groups were fantastic, "Shimmer"(his name) my guide was a great guy, everything was outstanding as I enjoyed memorable experiences, unforgettable people and extraordinary images that only eastern Africa can produce. IT WAS TOTALLY FANTASTIC AND I MISS AFRICA ALREADY. Thank-you again for allowing me to share the wonderful country of Rwanda, it will always have a special place within my heart.
