The city of Lhasa is so rich in its Tibetan culture and Buddhist heritage that a vistor could easily spend over a week and not see it all.

The Friendship Highway is one of the most spectacular drives in the world. AWR adds a visit to Everest Base Camp with its amazing views of Mount Everest.

We recommend at least 4 days in Lhasa, followed by 6 days on the Friendship Highway or a gorgeous trek.
