Overview
- 12-day excursion from Lhasa to Kathmandu via the Friendship Highway
- 7 days of hiking above 16,000 feet
- Camp III is also know as Advanced Base Camp (ABC)
- You are required to spend at least 3 nights in Lhasa for acclimatization.
Itinerary
Day 1-4: Drive from Lhasa to Rongbuk via Friendship Highway, overnight at hotel (B)
Day 4: Hike to Everest Base Camp, camp at EBC (BD)

Price Includes:
- 3 nights hotel (Gyantse, Shigatse, Zhangmu) B&B, double occupancy
- 8 nights camping with all camping equipment like two men tents, kitchen tent, mess tent, dining table, chairs, toilet tent, mattresses, liner for sleeping bags, shower pumps, boiled and filtered water.
- All kitchen equipment and cooking utensils, fuel etc.
- Nepalese Sherpa staff including cook during camping period

Price Excludes:
- Sleeping bags ( can be hired in Kathmandu for US$ 3 or US$ 3.5 per day ) , Tibet visa fees ( US$ 62 per person for US$ nationals and 45 for other nationals), Airfare KTM - Lhasa ( US$ 316 per person ) subject to change, international airport tax for KTM - Lhasa flight ( Nrs 1695 ) payable in local currency, services in Nepal including hotels and meals and transfers (except Zangmu - Kathmandu), extra costs incurred due to landslide, political unrest, rain, cancellation of flights, snow or other unforeseen circumstances, Nepal visa fees, beverages, tips, personal natured expenses, insurance, rescue evacuation and medical kit.
