DAY 6: Drive Lhasa to Namtso Lake (4 hrs driving), set up camp and lunch (4700m), then drive a short distance to Tashi Dor where you can explore the Kora hike and lake look out. Afternoon hike (1 - 2 hours) is optional depending on your energy and acclimitisation, overnight camp (BLD)

DAY 7: Namtso – Chomokangsar BC. (4hrs drive, 2-3 hrs hiking: Camp 4800m)
This morning we pack up camp and drive to Yangpachen before crossing the spectacular Shugo La Pass. We get stunning views of the mountains we will be trekking amongst. After winding down the other side of the pass, we set up our base camp near a small herder village with mind-blowing views of the peaks above. You can hike as little or as much as you want this afternoon. Overnight camp (BLD)

DAY 8: Chomokangsar West Flank (4-7 hrs hiking) Today we hike up the foothills of Chomo Kangsar aiming to get as close to the mountain as we can. As usual distance is decieving in such big mountains and the peak stays tantalising close but unreachable. Today we get stuning views of glacers, glacial lakes and if we're lucky, avalanches. At the end of the day we hike back to camp for a well earned rest. Overnight camp (BLD)

DAY 9: Dapla Valley Hike. (4-7 hrs hiking: Camp 4800m) Today is another spectacular hike as we head up the Dapla Valley towards the jagged Dapla Ri. Dapli Ri is a satellite peak of Chomokangsar and we follow the valley over glacial morraines to find amazing views of the glacial lakes below the peak. Our guides think today’s hike is the most spectacular day you can spend in the mountains in Central Tibet. Overnight camp (BLD)

DAY 10: This morning the group can choose between a lazy morning or perhaps tackling one of the peaks above the Shugo La. You can choose as a group depending on motivation and energy levels. In the afternoon we return to Lhasa. Overnight Dekang Hotel (BL)

DAY 11: Transfer to Lhasa airport for outgoing flight (B)
